elon — wanted to give you a heads up before this hits the press tomorrow.
we are announcing OpenAI LP, a capped-profit subsidiary. the nonprofit retains control. the cap is 100x for first-round investors.
we made the decision because we cannot otherwise raise the capital we need. i wanted you to hear it from me.
